How do I connect my Dr. Dish machine to Wifi?

Most of the latest Dr. Dish machines require wifi to save stats, access our training library, and receive updates.

Dr. Dish Rebel+, All Star+, FCLTY, CT, CT+, and Home all require access to wifi for certain reasons. When a machine connects to wifi, it allows important software, firmware, and content updates to be pushed to your machine.

A strong connection is also required on all models that allow stat saving and access to our Training Library (All Star+, FCLTY, CT, CT+ and Home).

Make sure the mobile device you are using (tablet or phone) to connect to the machine is connected to a wifi network or has a strong cellular connection. Use your device to connect to the machine, get up shots, and save your stats.

Dr. Dish Rebel+, All Star+, FCLTY, CT, and CT+

  1. To get started, tap the wifi icon on the left-hand side for a view of all of the possible wifi connections.
  2. Select your network and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your connection.
  3. When you are successfully connected, you will see the orange bar near the top of the screen confirming the connection
How can I test my connection?

The best way to confirm your connection is to load and play a video from our workout library. Choose the "training library" button. You can bypass the login screen by pressing SKIP. Choose a workout and go to play a video. Does it load? The speed and success indicate the strength of the connection the machine has.

What if I can't connect?
Try powering down and rebooting the machine first. Sometimes school networks often have a variety of security protocols in place. If it appears that you are connected, but you are not able to log in or watch a video,  please contact your school's IT department to assist in verifying the connection. To confirm the connection issue is not the Dr. Dish machine you can turn on a mobile device's hot-spot and connect the machine to that. If it connects you can be certain there is a network related security in place preventing the connection between the local network and the Dr. Dish.
If your IT team suggests that they whitelist the machine on the network, you can use the Network Whitelisting document to help guide them. If you continue to experience issues please fill out a support request here, or give us a call at 612-412-4410.
