How to troubleshoot an E-2 Error on Your Dr. Dish

If you are receiving an E-2 Error and your machine is not launching please check the below!

  1. Verify power connections and make sure all the connections are secure, reference this power connection diagram!
  2. If your power connections are secure and you are still receiving the E-2, please check your 6 pin.
    1. First, using a Philips screw driver remove the console but referencing this document.
    2. Ensure that the 6-pin connector on the back of the console is secured tightly to the board and also confirm there are no black marks on or around the socket.
      1. Black marks are indicative of a failure of the console and should be replaced.
