Shroud Removal And Install Video Guide
Written Shroud Removal Instructions
- Ensure that the machine is unplugged from it's power source.
- Starting with the front two screws, take the allen wrench in your right hand and the screwdriver in your left. Use the allen wrench on the right side to hold the bolt in place while loosening the screw on the left with the screwdriver. It is recommended to secure the pieces of hardware together after removal so as to not lose any pieces.
- At this point you can attempt to determine whether you need to remove both shrouds completely or just one of them. Most troubleshooting can be completed by taking off only one of the shrouds, part replacements will typically require removing both.
- Regardless of what you determined in the previous step you will now loosen the bottom three screws, then the upper left and right screws.
- Now with one hand supporting the shroud loosen the final screw, you should hear a slight click once it has released from the frame.
- At this point the shroud panel should be removed from the machine at a slight angle to ensure the loosened screws do not fall out. If they do it is okay, keeping them in the shroud just makes the process a bit easier.
Written Shroud Install Instructions
- Ensure the machine is unplugged from it's power source.
- Take the shroud and align the upper middle screw hole with the fastening point of the machine's frame. Using the screwdriver tighten the upper middle screw in place.
- Now move on to tightening the upper front screw. While performing this step ensure that the two shroud pieces are correctly positioned in the front, there is a slight groove where they will align.
- At this point the rest of the screw holes on the shroud should be aligned with the fastening points on the machine's frame. Proceed to securely fasten the remaining four side screws, being cautious not to over tighten..
- Once the six side screws have been secured we will complete the install with the front two screws. Starting with either the top or bottom slide the bolt into the right side holding it with the allen wrench. From the left side insert the screw with the screwdriver, and securely fasten. Again being cautious not to over tighten, repeat for the remaining screw completing the install process.
